waka my little ghosts,
Or in other
words: good evening. While I greened up my Miranda Ashcroft model I decided to
repose her slightly.
You might
have noticed in yesterday's post, that I already angled her in, so that her
sidestepping dash move becomes more of a slide, which I find to be more in line with the inclination of
her head. Now the way she held her sword seemed kinda odd to me. So I went
ahead and angled it in to match her moving direction/momentum. That way it
becomes a power slide-slice... or that's what I intended it to be. I used .5mm wire for this, which is not my favorite. I'm a .8 man. Does anyone
of you guys want to give me a piece of his mind about this? Is it better this
way or worse? Btw I'll green stuff the gap shut of course.

Wow! That is a superb pose. Is this mini part of a tabletop game or just a mini for painters/collectors?
ReplyDeleteThat model is from the Infinity game from Corvus Belli (in Spain). I highly recommend you check out their mini range, some old junk but the newer the better. And the game rocks as well. This model in particular was a limited edition (Miranda Ashcroft Autorized Bounty Hunter), you might still find one in some oline stores or on ebay. now she reminds me of Neo avoiding bullets... but nice conversion
ReplyDeleteIn a game, that's moastly gunplay, she hopfully is. But I wouldn't call it a conversion. I just didn't put her together the way I was meant to.
