Legion... wait for it .... dary!
Yeah, still
continuing to fulfill the completition of my Legion project. This is really
just a quick and dirty update once again. Instead of doin' the teachers deed, storing
pictures for a step by step post, I simply throw my pics at the interweb and let
you figure it out for yourself.

Things got sticky
This
is a quick hobby post, using some older footage, mainly to show you my new
paint handles. I got the idea form the PP studio. It's basically wood with a
base... I feel stupid typing this. Anyhow I'd highly recommend those for pointy
metal minis for obvious reasons.

been a while
Hay fan(s),
hopefully plural, probably not, anyways, I’m gonne do one big update post here
on what I did lately and older stuff I wanted to share with geeks around the
world... yeah talking to YOU. Let’s get right to it. Above is my tobsen77 weird walker finally assembled, which was tricky due to no telling
where the parts should go.

It's super effective!
I recently stole a Tyranid paint sceme from the offical GW blog. It's all dry brushing and a little wash, super fast! I painted them all in 4 hours! There are still several hundreds to be painted, and since I like the effect/time ratio, I'll go with it.
Pirates of the Empyrean
And for another BFG project.
Here are a couple of pics of my first Dark Eldar Cruiser kitbash steps. I think this speaks for itself, assuming you already have the same images in your head... fins, blades, guns and chains maybe.
Like God
Yeah like god I start Eden with one man and woman.
I like the minis, so I will paint them soon I hope. The metal Taban uses
though is a tiny enormous bit too soft. You can carve it with your fingernail. That’s
something I don't like. Yet I have no idea why that is so. Whether this is a
quality matter, or a hobby choice for a reason is unknown to me.
The Game itself is something I'm looking forward to play soon, because a
4-6 mini skirmisher on a 1 1/2' square board is somewhat the wargame traveler’s
edition.
How to Ernesdo things ... badum tiss!
And another one my painting niche an the Blog.
Up the is the niche in its tide shiny awesomeness. Note the giant D20 to smack upstart game masters with. Following comes my super budget wet pallet, it's so cheap, it pays me for using it... no it doesn't. But if you can only hardly afford wargaming, then start with that to feel better about your situation.
Lamenters strike cruiser
Short one on one of my BFG projects.
This is early wip yes, but since I am among the elusive ... lets say 31/2 people in the world who have planded to start a BFG Space Marine Lamenters fleet, I wanted to share my paint sceme with the interweb, so that we might be 4 soon. Any questions on how I did it will be very unexpected.
Legion update
A brief update on my Legion project. By now they are actually primed, droped, broken, repaired, basecoated and partally shaded. I think I will not post any further pictures untill they are finished, which might take some time.

some terrain I recently finshed
Hallo again,
here now are some pictures of one of my 4' x 6'
gaming tables, including some terrain pieces I finished some time ago. More
forests, hills, obstacles, minefields and some commercials.

Thank You Microsoft
Aaaand I made a logo... with MS-Piant... obviously. Since I never got me any software for such jobs, I did it with what I had. I don`t feel like improving in computer painting, seems like a waste of time.

Issues with my one decision
Idecided to change the name from "The Importance of being Gideon" to ETTHB.
Yes I said I will not hear any criticism regarding it. That still stands. Thought it should be more descritive, less about me. Furthermore I didn`t manage to build/piant anything the last few days. But I might come up with an overview of my current projekts soon.
Thats all folks.

Tools for the green
Hello there,
i wonted to quickly share which tools I use for working with green stuff. The extra firm clay shapers are often to firm in my opinion, therefore I`ll get me more of those coloshapers soon. They are much better to get the ovaerall schpe right, especially when that is round, before gonig into details with the "dentist thingys".

Legion Projekt: of mold an metal
Hey Folks,
here some pics of my WIP Everblight war band (so far 36p Absylonia tier 2). I tried to make Absylonia look more like on the painted picture, that should be noted. The second shepherd is a former unblighted Lanyssa Ryssyll Minons solo. The rest is stoned basing und changing posture... with about 12'' of wire for pins.
FIRST!
Woohuuuu! I finally got
into blogging.... jay!
So for the first post its explanation time. First up the name: My family name is kinda like the last word of the title of that famous Wilde play, which i find to be particularly funny. My first name is actually Gideon. So there you have it. That has nothing to do with tabletop gaming; which is and shall forever be the sole topic of this blog. Since it is my blog, name giving is my job alone. Therefore I will never ever listen to complaints of my followers, no matter how insistent and justified they may be.
